Drying Type of Gypsum Board

Direct Drying Type

For direct drying type, hot air from a fuel burner is lead into circulating air directly, the heat exchanging efficiency is high. Can burn natural gas or light diesel, because they are comparatively clean. The cost of fuel would be higher for the direct drying type, but the heat exchanging rate is comparatively 10%-20% higher, and the operation and maintain-ance cost would be a lot lower, and also environmental friendly.

Indirect Drying Type

For indirect drying type, the medium in the pipes is firstly heated, which flows through heat exchanger in dryer to heat the air inside the dryer further and gypsum boards consequently; either steam or thermal oil can be used as medium here. However ,the latter have been more extensively used for its higher specific heat capacity.

Hot Air Drying Process

First, fuel from hot air stove will heat clean air by heat exchanger, hot air blow is formed. Then the hot air goes into each zone of dryer to dry board directly. This is more extensively used for the domestic large capacity lines.
