Description of Crude Rapeseed oil Degumming refinery machine
1.Pretreatment of ethyl ester (biodiesel )processing plants
's biodiesel pretreatment plants are designed for continuous operation as well as for maximum efficiency and safety. The process is similar to refining oil for edible use, but without some of the extras that are needed to make an edible product. The main goal of pretreatment is to reduce both the phosphatides and fatty acid of the feed to the biodiesel (transesterification) plant. A typical neutralized and bleached feedstock will be suitable for use without the need for additional pretreatment.
Classical chemical refining is used through successive steps:
it must be degumming, neutralizing, bleaching, (Mainly removing free fatty acid and other minor constituents).
2. Transesterification of methyl ester ( biodiesel ) processing plants
The biodiesel process uses a multistep transesterification reaction followed by neutralizing and washing steps. The multistep transesterification reaction converts nearly 100% of the triglycerides in the oil or fat to biodiesel (methyl ester). The methyl ester is then stripped to remove the water and methanol. The final step is to chill and filter the methyl ester in order to remove impurities that form at low temperatures. This filtered methyl ester now meets the definition of biodiesel and can be used as a fuel, heating oil or other applications.
The glycerin byproduct separated from the methyl ester is further processed by removing methanol and some of the water so that it that can easily be refined in a glycerin refining plant.
The excess methanol from both the methyl ester and glycerin fractions is recovered and reused for environmental and economic reasons.
3.Distillation of methyl ester ( biodiesel )processing plants
The biodiesel distillation process can be used as a method to clean up a methyl ester that does not meet the proper biodiesel specification. However, it is usually designed to make biodiesel into even better quality biodiesel by improving the cold flow characteristics. This is accomplished by distilling the biodiesel and leaving behind a lot of the monoglycerides and other low-volatile components.
uses a high-vacuum, high-temperature distillation column to separate the desired biodiesel components from the undesired components. The high-quality biodiesel produced can far exceed the quality needed for use as a fuel. Therefore, it is sometimes used for only a portion of the produced biodiesel and then blended with normal biodiesel in order to achieve a nominal gain in quality or to offer a product to customers who desire a product that has a much stricter standard than the normal biodiesel.
